RIP THE GUT is by far the heaviest release from The Things of Youth and once again delivers on the bands genre-surfing-fuck-rules-have-fun ethos. The band is known for creating atmospheric, emotionally charged music with layered guitar work, introspective vocals, and rhythmic basslines. RIP THE GUT pushes further into post-punk, noise rock, and dirge.
