The Things of Youth blends a range of styles, primarily post-punk, dream pop, and folk. The band is known for creating atmospheric, emotionally charged music with layered guitar work, introspective vocals, and rhythmic basslines.

Recently Voted Best New Rap, Hip Hop, and Folk Act.

Today The Things of Youth consists of Jon Fee on bass and foot organ and Patricia Kavanaugh on drums, while both share vocal duties. Previous members include Charlie Fee (drums), and a myriad of friends helping with the recordings.
